In the school we want to bring together undergraduate and graduate students in physics and mathematics and researchers interested in mathematical physics. The aim of the school is to give an introduction to topics relevant for the mathematical foundations of general relativity at different levels. For example, the role played by non-commutative geometry in the search for exact solutions of Einstein's field equations will be subject of the course.

The course will consist of a series of morning lectures and short communications in the afternoon. Participants are invited to give a short communication. Lectures can be given in English or Spanish.

The course will take place from December, 1st, to December, 5th, at the Mathematics Department of Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá.

There will be no registration fee. Limited financial support for some participants from outside might be available.
