Escuela de Física Matemática 2010

Functional analytic methods in general relativity and quantum mechanics

The school is aimed at undergraduate, graduate and PhD students and researchers interested in the topic. The purpose of this school is to introduce students to functional analytic methods applied in general relativity, quantum mechanics and quantum field theory. The participants will have the possibility to give talks on topics related to general relativity, quantum mechanics and quantum field theory.

The school will consist of a series of morning lectures given by the invited main speakers. Participants have the possibility to give talks on topics related to mathematical methods in general relativity, quantum mechanics, field theory, etc.

The lectures will be held in English and Spanish.

The school will take place from 31st of May to 4th of June at the Mathematics Department of Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá.

Main speakers
Sergio Cacciatori (Università dell'Insubria, Italy),
Alexander Cardona (Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá),
Gian Michele Graf (ETH Zürich, Switzerland),
Osanobu Yamada (Ritsumeikan University, Japan).

There will be no registration fee. Limited financial support for some participants from outside might be available.
