How Quantum entanglement sheds new light into the infinities of field theory
I will show that for a whole class of generally entangled "in" and "out" states in quantum field theory, some of the common divergences, such as zero-point energies and the short-distance behavior of propagators, are absent. These results point to possible new approaches to regularization of divergences in renormalizable theories.
