About the SRI
The aim of the Summer Research Institute is to gather leading researchers and graduate students (as well as advanced undergraduates) in mathematics and physics during an intensive one week program that should serve as a platform for the exchange of ideas and formulation of new problems.
The event will take place in Villa de Leyva from July 22 to 27; a total of 6 days during which the participants will have the opportunity to interact in an engaging environment. The invited lecturers will give talks about their respective fields of expertise during the morning sessions. There will also be the opportunity for other participants to present their results. The afternoon sessions will provide plenty of opportunities for informal academic exchange and interaction.

Practical information:
- We have arranged group transportation from Bogotá to Villa de Leyva on the morning of Sunday, July 21. The meeting point will be Casona del Patio.
- Participants arriving before July 21 should contact us in order to arrange accommodation in Bogotá.
- Group transportation will be arranged from Villa de Leyva to Bogotá on Saturday, July 27.
- Venue: The SRI will be held at the Hotel “El Mesón de los Virreyes”.
Financial support:
We will be able to cover living expenses for a very limited number of participants. If you need financial support, please state it in the registration form below. Notice that all participants must pay a fee of 120.000 COP.
